“Single” is an adjective with the two-word syllables that’s so simple to hear but can cause great impact if being describe on you. It is highly defined as being not involved in a serious romantic relationship with anyone. Also, it can somewhat tell the backstories of you on why you’ve chosen to be like that or how did you end up on that.

Here are some five (5) reasons why you’re still single.

A quick heads-up, this article may not somehow be true to others. This is purely on gathering people’s idea and somehow the basis is mostly in their life happenings.

1. Standards (Somewhat High)

We are in a modernized world where we are thrown in great standards due to the people that surrounded us, or maybe due to the love stories that we have watched or read. With our imagination and the things we have read on the internet made us raise our standards. We have been wanting things in a movie or in a book to be applied to us. The same scene, the same lines, and the same gestures which we wanted to happen in reality. Or, simply you just have high standards due to your fundamental orientations.

2. Priorities

How busy the world can make us and not drive us in the world of being in a relationship. The clock spins at a fast pace where you don’t have time to engage in a relationship as your priorities weigh more than it. We all aimed to be a successful person, hence, the time to spend on going on a date or simply talking with your partner may take up some part of your schedule. Teenagers nowadays say that “Study first before relationship”. And just by that simple saying, one could conclude that priorities first before on that thing.

3. Social Approval

Fishing for someone’s idea of yours is never okay. But, some people are hungry and born with it. Social approval can be related to family approval, peer approval, or stranger’s (society) approval. One of the reasons why you’re still single is simply because you want social approval on your doings. And if that fits with what the society wants, you would go for it. Hence, getting that social approval is never easy, then that’s why you stayed on a single line because of everyone’s perspective.

4. Still Waiting for Someone

We can never deny that we always have that one person that we adored the most even if that person never looked back onto us. Even if those hundred thrown out reasons not to choose or choose them, but when the universe would tell this is not the perfect timing, then it won’t happen. And you would sit there in longer days and hours, waiting for that person to love you.

5. Not Ready!

The last reason is when you are not ready. Even if you wanted to be but then you feel like you’re not ready, then you will never be. Being ready is with the path of readiness to be hurt, love, cry, starting fresh, or whatever riddling sentiments would be readily accepted and handled well. And being ready is simply the ability to be committed seriously.

There’s no excuse to be in a negative environment filled with difficult people. You don’t need any of that nonsense.

Second, sometimes ending the relationship is better for both you and the difficult person in question.

Some people personally fall out with their few friends because they need it. These difficult people need to make their own mistakes in order to grow. To stick around and allow them to be difficult is simply allowing them to fuel their own negative energy and take those around them for granted. They’ll never learn that way.

So if you care enough, dump them. Walk away and let them grow. It’s for the best.

Going in games and challenges which made you win at the end of the line. Winning something gives you more pride in self and reputation. Hence, winning over someone higher in authority or colleagues in fake manners would never bring you in genres of authenticity and well-built character.

The very great way to deal sycophant is to let them not annoy or bother you even in the slightest possible way. You are a person who has unique abilities, skills that built you in the greater picture, a person that’s well made by the occurrences that come along the ways, then you will just let that sycophant break your royal aura which it took some time to build on it? No, don’t! Don’t give him, her, or them the privilege to take your sentiments in irritation, anger, sadness, or annoyance.
