August 2023 Psychometrician Board Exam Results
Out of 8,370 examinees,
only 6,133 (73.27%) passed the August 2023 Psychometrician
Board Examination administered by the Professional Board of Psychology on August
1 & 2, 2023, at designated testing centers nationwide.
The results of the August 2023 Psychometrician Board Examination will be released on or before August 9, 2023 (Wednesday) or five (5) working days from the last day of examination in accordance with Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Resolution No. 1589, entitled “Schedule of Licensure Examination for Year 2023”.
The two-day examination was administered on August 1 and 2, 2023 (Tuesday and Wednesday) in different testing centers in the National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, and Palawan.
The exam was administered
by the PRC Board of Psychology, led by its Chairman, Ms. Miriam P. Cue, and its
member, Ms. Imelda Virginia G. Villar.

Did you know that the PRC can release exam results earlier than the expected date?
It has previously been observed that the PRC, as an implementing and policy-making body, may not adhere to the schedule for releasing exam results. Based on the resolution no. 1589, the result of the August 2023 Psychometrician board exam will be released on August 9, 2023.
There have been a few
occasions, however, where the PRC has released the results early; for example,
the February 2016 2023 psychometrician board exam results were released a day
early. Similarly, the PRC published the September 2019 LET exam results 10 days
earlier than expected.
In conclusion, the results of the August 2023 Psychometrician exam will be available at any moment or closer to the expected date of results.
PASSING SCORE (%)
In order to pass the psychometrician board exam, examinees must get an overall weighted average of 75% and no grade lower than 60% in any subject.
Examinees who score below
sixty percent (60%) in any given subject but obtain a weighted general average
of seventy-five percent (75%) or higher may be granted a conditional pass.
They are allowed to retake the subjects within the next two (2) years. Upon
obtaining a rating of at least seventy-five percent (75%) in each subject, they
will be considered to have passed the licensure examination, as stated in Section 18 of RA 10029.
RATING VERIFICATION
The rating verification of the August 2023 Psychometrician Board Examination conducted by the Board of Psychology will be accessible via an online portal.
