August 2024 Guidance Counselor Licensure Exam Results
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 316 (58.63%) out of 539 passed the August 2024 Guidance Counselors Licensure Examination given by the Board of Guidance and Counseling in different testing centers nationwide.
The results of the August 2024 Guidance Counselor Licensure Exam Results are expected to be released on August 16, 2024 or in two (2) working days from the last day of the examination, as required by Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Res. No. 1836, entitled “Revised Schedule of Licensure Examination from August to December 2024.”
The examination for Guidance Counselor Licensure Examination was administered on August 13 and 14, 2024 (Tuesday and Wednesday) in different testing centers in the National Capital Region (NCR).

and Counseling, led by Dr. Luzviminda S. Guzman, and its members, Dr. Elena V.
Morada and Dr. Carmelita P. Pabiton, administered the exam.

passing general weighted average rating is 75%, with no grade lower
than 60% in any subjects. However, an examinee who obtains a weighted
average of 75% or higher but receives a rating of less than 60% within two (2)
years of the last examination. To pass the examination, each subject or
subjects retaken must have a rating of at least 75%.
