CY 2024 Patrolman/Patrolwoman Regular and Attrition Recruitment Program
Good news! to all PNP Applicants for the year 2024.
The PNP Recruitment and Selection Service (PNP RSS) has announced through their official Facebook page that they are now accepting application folders from PNP applicants starting from September 4 to 11, 2023.
The said application folders
must be submitted to their respective Regional Recruitment and Selection Unit
(RSSU) of their Police Regional Office (PRO) where the applicant resides.
The
National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) has released an advisory dated September
29, 2023, approving the recruitment of 6,501 patrolmen/patrolwomen attrition
quota under the PNP CY 2023 Recruitment Program, distributed as follows:

The Philippine National Police is in need of NEW POLICE OFFICERS (Patrolman/Patrolwoman) for Calendar Year 2024 Regular & Attrition Recruitment Program with a monthly base pay of Php 29,668.
According to Police Colonel Jeanne B. Panisan, Recruitment and Selection Unit (PRSU-NCR), there will be 6,000 quota nationwide distributed per region for the year 2023 that will be determined by the NAPOLCOM. 1,000 for regular and 5,000 for attrition recruitment, she added.
The said application can be processed through Comprehensive Online Recruitment Encrypting System (CORES Portal) at PNP RSS. The quota will be distributed to the different Police Regional Offices (PROs) and other forces of the PNP.
The said application can be processed through Online Recruitment Application System (PNP ORAS) at PNP RSS.

Applicants
are remined of the following:
1. Body
Mass Index (BMI) with the maximum passing value of 26.5.
2. Practice
and exercise daily for Physical Agility Test (PAT). All applicants are required
to pass all stages and must meet the following minimum standard:
a.
Sit-up: Male – 35 (1 minute)
Female – 25 (1 minute)
b.
Push-up: Male – 35 (1 minute)
Female – 25 (1 minute)
c. 3KM Run: Male – 19 minutes
Female – 21 minutes

However, the PNP RSS will accept walk-in applicants at Marikina City, provided
that the applicant must have all the documentary requirements (Documents must be scanned in PDF format)
for uploading in the CORPS Portal.

Who are qualified to apply and what are the required minimum qualifications?
1. A citizen of the Philippines;
2. A person of good moral character;
3. Must have passed the psychiatric/psychological, drug and physical tests to be administered by the PNP;
4. Must possess a formal baccalaureate degree from a recognized learning institution;
5. Must be eligible;
– PNP Entrance (NAPOLCOM)
– RA No. 1080 (Bar and Board Examinations)
– PD No. 907 (CS eligibility to College Honor Graduates)
6. Must not have been dishonorably discharged from military employment or dismissed for cause from any civilian position in the government;
7. Must not have been convicted by final judgment of an offense or crime involving moral turpitude;
8. Must be at least one meter and sixty-two centimeters (1.62m) in height for male and one meter and fifty-seven centimeters (1.57m);
9. Must weight not more or less than five kilograms (5kg) from the standard weight Corresponding to his/her weight, age, and sex; and
10. Must not be less than twenty-one (21) nor more than thirty (30) years of age.
Note: An applicant shall be considered to be 21 years of age on his/her 21st birthday and shall be considered more than thirty (30) years of age on his/her 31st birthday.

What is an appointment under a Waiver Program?
1. The age, height and weight for initial appointment to the PNP may be waived only when the number of qualified applicants falls below the approved national;/regional quota;
2. The NAPOLCOM en banc may grant height waiver to a member of an indigenous group within the region as certified by the National Commission on Indigenous People (NCIP) or Office on Muslim Affairs (OMA);
3. Waiver of the age requirement may be granted only provided the applicant is not less than 20 nor more than 35 years of age;
4. Waiver of the height requirement may granted to a male applicant who is 1.57m and a female applicant who is 1.52m. A lower height requirement may be set for applicants belonging to indigenous group as certified by the NCIP
What are the documents required in filing application for waivers?
a. Civil Service Personal Data Sheet (Revised 2005)
b. NSO-authenticated Birth Certificate;
c. Authenticated Certificate of Eligibility;
d. Authenticated Transcript of Records/Diploma;
e. Certificate of Trainings/Special Skills;
f. Annual recruitment quota (to be provided by the PNP);
g. Worksheet of Final Deliberation
h. Certification under oath that there are no more qualified candidates to fill the quota;
i. Justification/Board Resolution recommending the applicant for a waiver; and NCIP certificate (for height waiver applicants only)
Note: The application for grant waiver must be endorsed by the Director/Regional Director of the processing unit to the Directorate for Personnel and Records Management for subsequent processing.
What are the factors to be considered in the grant of waivers?
1. Outstanding accomplishments or possession of special skills in law enforcement, police work, martial arts, marksmanship and similar skills;
2. Special talents in the field of sports, music and others; and Extensive experience or training in training in forensic science and other technical services.
In addition, the applicant must prepare the initial requirements in white folder with plastic cover and white tabbings. These are the initial requirements:
