BFP XI is Hiring Fire Officer 1 (FO1) 2024
The Bureau of Fire Protection Region XI (BFP XI) is in need of NEW FIRE OFFICERS (FO1)) for Calendar Year 2024 with a monthly base pay of Php 29,668.
The Bureau of Fire Protection Region XI (BFP-XI) has announced the acceptance of application and recruitment for Fire Officer 1 (FO1) 2024 with the minimum qualification:
Rank: Fire Officer (FO1)
Salary Grade: Ten (10)
Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Eligibility: Second Level Eligibility RA 1080, CSC Professional, PD 907, Fire Officer Exam
Age: Must not be less than 21 nor more than 30 years of age
Height: 1.57m or 5’2″ for male;1.52m or 5,0″ for female
Weight: Must weight not more or less than 5 kls from the standard weight corresponding to his/her height, age & sex.
The following
are the general qualifications for appointment, in addition to the
above-mentioned qualifications:
a. A citizen of
the Republic of the Republic of the Philippines;
b. A person
with good moral character;
c. Must have passed
the Neuro-Psychiatric Evaluation and Medical Examination for the purpose of
determining his/her Physical and Mental Health;
d. Must not have been dishonorably discharged or dismissed for cause from previous employment; and
e. Must not have been convicted by final judgement of an offense or crime involving moral turpitude and has no derogatory records.
The following is the Calendar of Activities for CY 2024 Fire Officer 1 (FO1) Recruitment and Selection:
HOW TO APPLY
Interested applicants must personally submit one (1) set of application folder with letter tabbings and table of contents containing the following documents at Human Resource Management Section (HRMS), BFP Regional Office XI, with office address at Leon Garcia corner Monteverde Sts., Davao City starting March 19, 2024 until April 1, 2024, 5pm, to wit:
A. Initial Evaluation Form (IEF) and FO1 Application Requirements Checklist (ARC). Downloadable from BFP-RXI
B. Application Letter addressed to FSSUPT RICHARD V ARBUTANTE, MPSM, DSC, Regional Director, indicating the position applied for;
C. Two (2) copies of duly notarized handwritten/computerized Personal Data Sheet (PDS) (CS Form 212 Revised 2017). Print Entries using BLACK BALLPEN. Do NOT use sign pen;
D. Two (2) copies of Work Experience Sheet (CS Form No. 212 for Attachment for Applicants who filled-in page 2 PDS work experience portion);
E. Authenticated copy of the following documents:
i. Service Record (for previous government employees);
ii. Latest Performance Evaluation (for previous government employees);
iii. Transcript of Records, College Diploma, and Certification, Authentication & Verification (CAV);
iv. Certificate of Second Level Eligibility from CSC/PRC (with Unexpired PRC License Card);
v. Certificate of Waiver (CoW) granted by Chief, BFP (for applicants with Age and/or Height defiency/ies.
vi. Unexpired Clearances: Barangay, Police, MTC, RTC, and NBI.
Important Note:
1. Applicant with height/age deficiencies must secure a Certificate of Waiver before application. Absence of the same shall mean outright disqualification of the applicant.
2. Documents
must be authenticated only by the issuing office.
3. Incomplete
application requirements shall not be accepted.
F. Photocopy of the following documents:
i. Certificate of Live Birth issued by Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA);
ii. Marriage Certificate issued by PSA (if applicable);
iii. Unexpired Driver’s License issued by LTO and/or TESDA NCII or III in Driving (if applicable); and
iv. HDMF/Pag-IBIG MDR Form, Tax Identification Number Verification Slip issued by BIR, and PhilHealth MDR Form.
G. Ishihara Test and Visual Acuity Test
1. Must be 25 plates or more;
2. Secure PRINTED TEST RESULTS not handwritten; and
3. Must be conducted by laboratories accredited by DOH.
Scanned copy of the test results must be submitted to the Health and Emergency Medical Service email address [email protected] not later than April 1, 2024.

Upon
submission of application folders and processing, applicants must wear white
round neck t-shirt, maong pants and rubber shoes.
