2023 BAR EXAM RESULTS: List of Bar Passers

MANILA, Philippines. The Supreme Court (SC), chaired by Associate Justice Ramon Paul L. Hernando, will shortly release the highly anticipated 2023 Bar Exam Results.

The Supreme Court (SC) through Associate Justice Ramon Paul L Hernando has announced that out of 10,387 examinees, only 3,812 (36.77%) successfully passed the September 2023 Philippine Bar Examination.

A total of 10,387 out of 10,791 registered bar examinees from different law schools took the three separate days of the September 2023 Philippine Bar Examination.

The 2023 Bar Exam was different from earlier tests as it was conducted through the Examplify software, which allowed candidates to take the exam digitally in person instead of using paper and pen.

This allows examinees to securely take the test using their own devices while being monitored and proctored. With the digital mode of the exams, takers may expect the soonest possible time for the release of the results.

Law students and bar examinees should remain updated on any potential or confirmed release dates from the Supreme Court and relevant authorities.

2023 BAR EXAM PASSING RATE

The 2023 Bar Exam requires a minimum passing score of 75%, which is calculated based on the weighted scores of each subject and the percentage of correct answers out of the maximum possible score.

However, the Supreme Court has the authority to adjust the passing percentage if needed, as it has done in previous Bar Exams, in order to ensure fairness and accuracy in the evaluation of the bar examinees.

The highest court clarified that the modifications to the 2020-2021 Bar Exam were only for that occasion due to the pandemic and a natural calamity.

Aspiring lawyers and law students are encouraged to keep themselves informed and updated on the latest developments regarding the 2023 Bar Exam results.

Best of luck to all the takers!
