April 2026 Midwife Licensure Exam (MLE) Results

The results of the April 2026 Midwife Licensure Examination (MLE) will be released in three (3) working days from the last day of the exam in accordance with PRC Resolution No. 2113, entitled “Schedule of Licensure Examinations for the Year 2026.

The two-day exam was held on April 14 and 15, 2026 (Tuesday and Wednesday) at various testing centers throughout the National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

The examination was conducted by the PRC Board of Midwifery under the supervision of its Chairman, Melchor C. Dela Cruz, Jr., and its members, Lerma M. Valenzuela, Corazon F. Landicho, and Lourdes S. Mangahas.

MLE EXAMINATION COVERAGE

Under Republic Act No. 7392, otherwise known as the “Philippine Midwifery Act of 1992”, the scope of examination for the practice of midwifery shall consist of the following:

a) Obstetrics

b) Fundamentals of Health Care

c) Infant Care and Feeding

d) Primary Health Care

e) Professional Growth and Development

Note: The following will be integrated with the above subjects:

1. Fundamentals of Sociology

2. Principles of Bacteriology

3. General Anatomy and Physiology

4. General Psychology

5. Nutrition

6. Parasitology

MLE PASSING SCORE (%)

In order to pass the board examination for midwives, an examinee must obtain a general rating of seventy-five percent (75%) in the exam with no grade lower than fifty percent (50%) in any subject.

Newly licensed professionals for the first renewal cycle (3 years) after obtaining a midwife professional license. Before renewing your PRC ID card, midwife professionals must comply with the mandatory requirement of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credit units under Republic Act No. 10912.

MLE RATING VERIFICATION

The rating verification of the April 2026 Midwife Licensure Examination conducted by the Board of Midwifery will be accessible via an online portal.
