It was a one-time incentive for Government Employees under the Executive Department last year but now the President has signed a new Service Recognition Incentive (SRI) this year.
President Ferdinand R Marcos Jr., through Executive Secretary, signed administrative order no. 27 series of 2024, which grants a service recognition incentive of not exceeding twenty thousand pesos (Php20,000) to all qualified workers in the Executive Department.
Who are qualified for SRI?
The
administrative order authorizes the grant of a one-time Service Recognition
Incentive (SRI) for each of the following personnel in the Executive
Department:
a. Civilian personnel in national government agencies (NGAs), including those in state universities and colleges (SUCs) and government-owned or controlled corporations (GOCCs), occupying regular, contractual or casual positions and;
b.
Military personnel of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) under
the Department of National Defense, and uniformed personnel of the Philippine
National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), and Bureau of Jail
Management and Penology (BJMP) under the Department of the Interior and
Local Government, Bureau of Corrections under the Department of Justice, the
Philippine Coast Guard under the Department of Transportation, and the National
Mapping and Resource Information Authority under the Department of Environment
and Natural Resources.
Who
are disqualified
Personnel who were found guilty of administrative and/or criminal cases by final or executory judgement in FY 2025 shall not be entitled to SRI.
If the
penalty imposed is only reprimand, the personnel concerned shall be entitled to
the SRI.

When will be the release of SRI?
The PNP Finance Service has announced that the payment of the Service Recognition Incentive (SRI) FY 2025 will be released on December 19, 2025.
It further states that the grant of cash incentive will be subject to government employees who are under regular, contractual or casual arrangements and are still in the government service as of November 30, 2025.
