CPA RESULTS: December 2024 Certified Public Accountant Licensure Exam
The December 2024 Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination (CPA) results are expected to be released in five (6) working days from the last day of the examination, in accordance with Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Resolution No. 1891, entitled “Revised Schedule of Licensure Examination for October to December 2024.”
Out of 10,136 examinees, only 3,058
(30.17%) passed the December 2024 Certified Public Accountant
Licensure Examination administered by the Professional Board of Accountancy
on December 6-8, 2024 at designated testing centers nationwide.
The three-day examination was conducted last December 6-8, 2024 (Friday-Sunday) at the different testing centers in the National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan De Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
The Professional Board of Accountancy, chaired by Noe G. Quiñanola, Vice Chairman Samuel B. Padilla, and its members Gloria T. Baysa, Gloria T. Baysa, Thelma S. Ciudadano, Gervacio I. Piator, and Maria Teresita Z. Dimaculangan, administered the said examination.

Oathtaking of the Newly Certified Public Accountants
The face-to-face mass oathtaking of the newly Certified Public Accountants will be held on February 2025.
Examinees
who have passed their exams and are looking to participate in the face-to-face
mass oathtaking ceremony are required to register no later than 12:00 noon on
the day before the scheduled event. To confirm their attendance, interested
parties must go to http://online.prc.gov.ph.
Inductees
are required to PRINT the Oath Form with their own generated QR. This will be
submitted during the oathtaking in order to be tagged as “attended”.
Further,
kindly bring ANY of the following on the day of the oathtaking:
a. Vaccination
Card
b. Negative
RT-PCR/COVID-19 anti-gen swab results taken within 48 hours before the
oathtaking
Those
who are unable to attend the scheduled face-to-face mass oathtaking may do so
online or request a special oathtaking. Once the schedule is established,
online oathtaking notifications will be made.

Did you know that the PRC can release exam results earlier than the expected date?
It has previously been observed that the PRC, as an implementing and policy-making body, may not adhere to the schedule for releasing exam results. Based on Resolution No. 1917, CPA exam results will be released on December 16, 2024.
However, there have been a few occasions where the PRC has released the results early, like the October 2022 CPA exam results, which were released nine days earlier than expected.
In conclusion, the results of the December 2024 CPA exam will be available at any moment or closer to the expected date of results.
Successful examinees are
advised to comply with Section 19, Article III of R.A. 11131, which mandates
that they take their oath of profession in person before the Board or any of
its members, and with the Accredited Professional Organization (APO) in an
oath-taking ceremony specifically organized for this purpose. Only individuals
who are members of the APO before practicing the profession may receive an oath
from any legally authorized person after passing the exam.

CPA PASSING SCORE
An examinee must obtain a weighted average rating of seventy-five percent (75%) with no grade less than sixty percent (65%) in any given subject to pass the December 2024 Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination (CPA).
VERIFICATION OF RATING
The verification of ratings and test results for the December 2024 CPA Exam given by the Board of Accountancy will be available via an online portal.
