FEBRUARY 2024 RESULTS: MECHANICAL ENGINEER LICENSURE EXAM (ME), TOP 10 PASSERS
Only 4,452 (66.02%) out of 6,770 takers passed the Mechanical Engineer Licensure Examination and 65 (60.19%) out of 108 passed the Certified Plant Mechanic Licensure Examination given by the Board of Mechanical Engineering in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban and Zamboanga this February 2024, according to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
The two-day examination was administered on February 20, 21, and 22, 2024 (Tuesday – Thursday) at various testing centers in the National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban and Zamboanga.
The
PRC Professional Board of Mechanical Engineering, led by its Chairman, Engr.
Leandro A. Conti, and its members, Engr. Jerico T. Borja and Engr. Lorenzo P.
Larion, conducted the examination.

Operation and Repair of all types of such Industrial Plant Machinery and
Equipment as encountered in Sugar Mills, Lumber Mills, Oil Mills, Ice Plants, Air
Conditioning Plants, etc.)
PASSING
SCORE
To
pass the exam, a candidate for professional mechanical engineer, mechanical
engineer, or certified plant mechanical must obtain an average of seventy percent (70%)
on all subjects, with no rating lower than
fifty percent (50%) in any subject.
VERIFICATION OF RATING
The verification of ratings and test results for the February 2024 Mechanical Engineer Licensure Examination (ME) and Certified Plant Mechanics Licensure Examinations (CPM) given by the PRC Board of Mechanical Engineering will be available via an online portal.
