Out of 468 examinees, only 339 (72.44%) successfully passed the August 2023 Psychologist Licensure Examination administered by the Professional Board of Psychology on August 1 and 2, 2023, at designated testing centers nationwide.
The results of the August
2023 Psychologist Licensure Examination will be released on or before August 9,
2023 (Wednesday) or five (5) working days from the last day of examination in
accordance with Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Resolution No. 1589,
entitled “Schedule of Licensure Examination for Year 2023“.
The two-day exam was held
on August 1 and 2, 2023 (Tuesday and Wednesday) at various testing centers
throughout the National Capital Region (NCR), Cebu, Davao, Legazpi, Pampanga,
and Rosales.
The examination was conducted
by the PRC Board of Psychology, under the supervision of its Chairman, Ms.
Miriam P. Cue, and its member, Ms. Imelda Virginia G. Villar.

In order to pass the
August 2023 Psychologist Licensure Exam, examinees must get an overall weighted
average of 75% and no grade lower than 60% in any subject.
Examinees who score below
sixty percent (60%) in any given subject but obtain a weighted general average
of seventy-five percent (75%) or higher may be granted a conditional pass.
They are allowed to retake the subjects within the next two (2) years. Upon obtaining
a rating of at least seventy-five percent (75%) in each subject, they will be
considered to have passed the licensure examination, as stated in Section 18 of RA 10029.
RATING VERIFICATION
The rating verification of
the August 2023 Psychologist Licensure Exam conducted by the Board of
Psychology will be accessible via an online portal.
