President Duterte approves Extension of Enhanced Community Quarantine to April 30

Duterte has issued a memorandum today, April 4, 2020 extending the Enhanced
Community Quarantine (ECQ) over the entire Luzon until 11:59 pm of April 30,
2020.
It
has been 16 days since President Duterte the entire Luzon under the enhanced
community quarantine. It has also been a week since he signed into law the
Bayanihan to Heal as One Act which gives him special powers to contain the
spread of COVID-19 in the country. (CNN, PHI)
The
Philippine Air Lines (PAL) Holding Inc. confirmed the cancellation of their
domestic and international flights up to April 30, 2020, in line with the said
memorandum. PAL intends to resume flying by May 1, 2020, if allowed by government
authorities, global public health conditions and the travel environment. They
will announce the list of operating flights and routes once finalized. If your
flight is cancelled, we assure you that your ticket is safe and remains valid.
They’ve enhanced the policies to give their clienteles more flexibility due to
the evolving COVID-19 situation.
