PRC extends deadline for the filing of application for licensure examinations CY 2020
The
Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces the extension (until further
notice) for the filing of applications for licensure examination which
deadlines initially set from March 16, 2020 to April 14, 2020.
This
is in compliance with the Proclamation No.
922 signed by President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, declaring a State of Public Health
Emergency throughout the Philippines and calling for the implementation of
urgent, critical measures to contain the spread of COVID-19.
In
view of the aforementioned Presidential declaration on the prohibition of mass
gatherings upon the recommendation of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the
Management of Emerging Infectious Disease (IATF), and to further ensure the
safety of the applicants/examinees and personnel of the Professional Regulation
Commission (PRC), and prevent the spread of the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19)
that caused earlier postponements of the scheduled licensure examinations and
mass oath-takings.
The
Professional Regulation Commission advised all concerned to wait for further
announcements on the new schedule of deadlines, to be posted on the PRC website
and/or
social media accounts.
