How to Set-up Facebook Anti-Porn tagging

Lately, Facebook is having issues with random people tagging user’s accounts via Facebook. Kind of annoying because you don’t know that person and when you click that link it might be a virus or fishing of information.

A lot of our Facebook friends will post like this, “Hello, FB friends. My name has been tagged in malicious videos by unknown people. I have reported and blocked them but it seems it didn’t work. I received another one today. If in case you get tagged using my name, please don’t open the link. Definitely, I am not involved in such. Thank you.”

There’s a setting in Facebook in a way you can remove or disallow unknown people or people that are not your friends to tag you with a malicious post.

In this article, we’ll walk you through how to set up Facebook Anti-Porn tagging on your settings.

Step 1. Go to your homepage and tap “Menu”.

Step 2. Go down to “Settings & Privacy” and under “Setting & Privacy” you just go to “Settings

Step 3. Go to “Notifications” and look for “Notification Settings” and tap or click on it.

Step 4. Under What Notification You Receive” select “Tags

Step 5. Under “Tags” you will see by default “Anyone” and all you need to do is click or tap “Friends

Why “Friends”? Because the person who’s going to tag you will be your friends and not random unknown people on Facebook.

That’s how it works folks!
