February 2025 Criminology Licensure Exam (CLE) Results

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that out of 45,312 examinees, only ##,### passed the February 2025 Criminology Licensure Examination (CLE) given by the Board of Criminology in thirty (30) testing centers all over the Philippines.

The three-day CLE examination was conducted by the Professional Board of Criminology on February 5, 6, and 7, 2025, in various testing centers within the National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Palawan, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Bacolod, Bayambang, Bohol, Catarman, Cauayan, Dumaguete, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Kidapawan, Oroquieta, Romblon, and Valencia.

The said exam, chaired by Ramil G. Gabao and composed of members Warren M. Corpuz and Lani T. Palmones, administered the examination.

FEBRUARY 2025 CLE PASSING SCORE

To pass the February 2025 Criminology Licensure Exam, an examinee needs to achieve a weighted average of at least 75%, with no grade falling below 60% in any subject.

If an examinee reaches the 75% average but scores below 60% in one or more subjects, their results will be deferred. This means they will need to retake the failed subject(s).

Deferred examinees have one chance to retake the examination within two years from the original exam date. To pass, they must score at least 80% in the subject they previously failed.

If they don’t retake the exam within two years or fail to meet the 80% passing mark, they will have to retake all board subjects. Additionally, if an examinee fails three or more subjects, they are considered to have failed the entire examination.

Starting April 2025, the registration process for obtaining a Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done online. To register, visit www.prc.gov.ph and follow the instructions for initial registration.

When registering, make sure to have the following:

      1.    A downloaded and completed Oath Form (Panunumpa ng Propesyonal)

      2.    Notice of Admission (for identification purposes only)

      3.    Two passport-sized photos (colored, white background, with a  complete name tag)

      4.    Two sets of documentary stamps

      5.    One short brown envelope
