How to process PSSLAI Over the Counter (OTC) Payment
Public Safety
Savings and Loan Association, Inc. (PSSLAI) is a non-stock, non-profit savings
and loan institution for members of the Philippine National Police (PNP), the
Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), and the Bureau of Jail and Management Penology
(BJMP).
PNP Finance
Service released an Advisory on April 8, 2021, approving the declaration of the
nullity of PSSLAI and PNP’s accreditation and Memorandum of Agreement in the
Automatic Salary and Pension Deduction Scheme (ASPDS).
When we say
NULLITY of MOA between PNP and PSSLAI, it simply means STOPPAGE of deduction
and collection of PSSLAI (any types of
loan and savings) in the PNP ASPDS.
To avoid
penalties and/or surcharges, ALL PNP personnel with outstanding loans
must contact their nearest PSSLAI branch and settle their monthly amortization
via the over the counter payment scheme or other PSSLAI schemes.
Before processing any Over the Counter payment scheme, members must prepare the following:
1. PSSLAI Member ID Number – Check your PSSLAI loan voucher or access their https://bilisonline.psslai.com/
2. Promissory Note Number or LPRO Number –
To know your LPRO No. access the
bilisonline website (same with no.1 above) because each loan has different LRPO
Nos.
3. Amount to be paid – the best way to check the amount is by
looking at your deduction history via PNP payslip online.
4. Print your preferred PSSLAI Loan Payment Forms
How to Make an Over the Counter payment?
For the
convenience of their members, the PSSLAI has added new loan payment options and
these are:
1. Over the counter payment at PSSLAI Head Office;
2. ATM POS Swiping; and
3. Over the counter payment at Landbank of the Philippines
4. Fund Transfer from GCash to Landbank of the Philippines
5. Fund Transfer from Landbank to PSSLAI via Instapay
1. For Over the counter payment at PSSLAI Head Office
a. Members must physically go to their respective PSSLAI Head Office.
PSSLAI Branch/Offices:
a.1. Luzon PSSLAI Offices
b. Proceed to
Credit and Remedial Management Department (CRMD)
c. Fill out the Loan Payment Form and show it to the designated teller to pay your loan.
2. ATM Point-of Sale (POS) Swiping
a. Go to any PSSLAI branch except Camp Crame branch
b. Fill out the Loan Payment Form and swipe your ATM card with PSSLAI’s POS machine
Note: For every ₱25,000 swiped, a ₱25 service fee will be deducted from the account.
3. For Over the counter payment at Landbank of the Philippines (LBP)
a. Go to any Landbank (LBP) branch
If you choose to pay via LBP, you must know which banks are open and closed.

b. Fill out the deposit slip and deposit the cash over the counter with the following:

Account Number: 1862-1028-15
Account Type: Current Account
c. Fill out the Loan Payment Form
d. Take a
picture or scan your Loan Payment Form & deposit slips and email it to [email protected]
Note: LBP payments must be made three (3) working days before the due date. So, if the due date is on April 28, then you must process it on April 23.
Remember NO EMAIL, NO LOAN PAYMENT!
Although, LBP
is the best option for loan payments, however, their banking hours are from 8:00 am to 12:00nn. So be early!
4. Fund Transfer from GCash to Landbank of the
Philippines
a. Log-in to your GCash Account
If you’re new to GCash, you may download the App at Google Play Store.
b. On
your GCash App, click Send Money Icon
c. Click
Send Bank icon
d.
Select LBP and input the following information as applicable:
Account Name: PSSLAI
Account Number: 1862-1028-15
e. Take
a screenshot of the successful transaction
f. Fill-out the
PSSLAI Loan Payment
Form
g. Email
the Loan Payment Form and copy of the screenshot to [email protected]
5. Fund Transfer from Landbank to PSSLAI via Instapay
a. Log-in to your Landbank iAccess or internet banking account
b.
Choose bank transfer to LBP and input the following information as applicable:
Account Name: PSSLAI
Account Number: 1862-1028-15
Account Type: Current Account
Address: 524 PSSLAI EDSA Cubao QC
c. Select via INSTAPAY for real time fund transfer processing.
d. Take a screenshot of the successful transaction or the transaction receipt with transaction reference number and date.
Note: If your Landbak iAccess is not yet activated,
you may contact Customer Care Center or go to your nearest Landbank branch of
your account for fund transfer activation.
Transfer
fund via instapay is FREE until June
30, 2021.
Accrued
Interest will be charged to all personnel who failed to pay their April monthly
amortization.
The following options are available for paying accrued interest:
1. Renewal of loan – The amount of interest that has accrued will be deducted from the proceeds of the loan that is being extended/renewed. If a member-borrower has several loans, only the accrued interest of the loan being renewed shall be paid.
2. Full payment
of loan/pre-termination of loan – If member-borrower has several loans, only
the accrued interest of the loan being pre-terminated shall be paid.
3. At the end
of the term – Two (2) months will be added to the number of remaining
installments (1 for unpaid April 2021 amortization and 1 for the accrued
interest, any overpayment shall be deposited to CASA account)
Borrowers may
opt not to pay for the month of April, however, 2 months will be extended to
the remaining installments.
