How to Get a Valid ID and Secondary ID in 2022?

There are different kinds of Philippine IDs in the Philippines required in private or government transactions.

You can get to the DFA regional office or Department of Foreign Affairs near you. The Validity period is 10 years.

What are the Documents needed?

● One valid ID

● PSA certified birth certificate

● And other Supporting documents

How much is the cost?

The cost will range approximately from ₱950 to ₱1,200

SSS UMID CARD

What is the process of getting the SSS number?

● Go to the nearest SSS Office

● Get an E-1 Form

● Sign up the form and submit.

What to bring?

● Be sure to bring two IDs of any of the following:

● Baptismal Certificate

● Driver’s license

● Passport

● Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) card

● Seaman’s book

● Or any Valid IDs that have pictures and date of birth will do.

To get an SSS ID, you must pay at least three month’s contribution before you can be an active SSS member.

● Go to the local SSS office

● Fill out the E-6 Form

● And submit the form together with the following required documents mentioned earlier.

VOTER’S ID

Valid Primary ID voters id

Voter’s ID is for registered voters only. You can avail it for free, and the validity period is infinite.

You can visit at Commission on Elections (COMELEC)

Application Process:

For none-registered voters – provide a Valid ID and be a registered voter to your district.

For registered voters – visit the  COMELEC office, take a valid ID, and sign up the application form.

Voters ID issued a few months after the filing of the application. The released date is indicated at the claiming stub, given after the registration.

SECONDARY IDs: HOW THE PROCESS AND WHERE TO GET?

PHILHEALTH ID AND PHILHEALTH INSURANCE CARD

Philhealth card is one of the supplementary cards issued by the Government. The validity is unlimited, and it is free of charge.

How to apply?

You need to prepare the following documents before visiting the Philhealth office.

For Regular ID Card:

PMRF or PhilHealth Member Registration Form

Two pieces of ID picture – size 1×1

MDR or Member Data Record

For PhilHealth Insurance Card:

Two pieces of ID picture – size 1×1

PMRF or PhilHealth Member Registration Form

Cost:

● ₱90 for the ID’s fee

● ₱358 fee for each dependent

TIN CARD

The taxpayer of the Philippines is issued with a Tin Card, released by the BIR and its Validity is indefinite.

What to prepare?

Birth certificate

One valid ID

How to apply?

Go to the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) office close to you.

Fill out the TIN application form.

Submit the Documents needed.

Cost: Free of charge

POSTAL ID

Issued by PHLPost, the Postal IDs’ validity is indefinite and cost-free.

Application process:

Bring with you the following documents needed to accomplish the application.

Provide two proofs of PID application form

1 Valid ID, and a Supplementary ID, or Document will do.
