Did you know that the PRC can release the July 2024 CLE exam results earlier than the expected date?

It has previously been observed that the PRC, as an implementing and policy-making body, may not adhere to the schedule for releasing exam results. The results of the Criminology Licensure Exam will be released on August 21-22, 2024, according to Resolution No. 1836. However, there have been a few occasions where the PRC has released the results early; like the December 2021 CLE exam results were released seven days earlier than expected.

In conclusion, the results of the July 2024 CLE exam will be available at any moment or closer to the expected date of results.

July 2024 CLE Passing Score

An examinee must obtain a weighted average rating of seventy-five percent (75%) with no grade less than sixty percent (60%) in any given subject to pass the July 2024 Criminology Licensure Examination.

If the examinee obtains a weighted average score of 75% but a grade below 60% in one or more subjects, the examinee’s results will be deferred and he or she will be required to retake the failing subject(s).

The deferred examinee shall be permitted to retake the examination only once within two (2) years from the date of the previous examination, and shall be expected to obtain at least eighty percent (80%) on the subject in order to be considered to have passed the licensure examination.

If the examinee fails to retake after two years or fail to reach a passing score of 80 percent, he or she is required to retake all board subjects.

If an examinee fails three (3) or more board subjects, he or she is considered to have failed the board examination.

What happens next after passing the July 2024 Criminologist Licensure Exam?

After passing the exam, two important things must be completed by the successful July 2024 CLE passers: the oathtaking and the PRC ID.

The target date of CLE oath taking will be on October 2024 or two months from the date of release of the exam results.

If a face-to-face mass oathtaking occurs, all inductees must confirm their attendance by logging into their LERIS accounts by 12:00 noon the day before the oathtaking date.

The successful July 2024 CLE passer will have to login to their LERIS account at https://online.prc.gov.ph/. Make sure to remember your LERIS account and password the same way you did during the application period. Now, if you forget your password, you can click “forgot password” located below the sign-in button and enter your email address to receive an email that your password has been reset.

Once you sign in, click on SELECT TRANSACTION and select the OATH option and choose either Face to Face Mass Oath taking or Face to Face Special Oath Taking (if you failed to attend the scheduled mass oathtaking). Under OATH, select “ CRIMINOLOGIST ” and type in your application number from your notice of admission (NOA), then click PROCEED.

The system will automatically give you the earliest date set for oathtaking and you will select your preferred schedule then click “SUBMIT APPLICATION” to proceed.

A confirmation message will pop-up with a summary of your transaction; make sure to print your oath form document or the PANUNUMPA NG PROPESYON under the “Existing Transaction” tab.

Successful passers after completing the transaction via Online LERIS will receive an email from the PRC informing them of their preferred oathtaking schedule and other reminders and requirements such as ceremony protocols and proper decorum during the oathtaking ceremony.

The oathtaking ceremony may last an hour or less, and CLE passers must be at the venue 30 minutes or one hour before the scheduled oathtaking time.

During the oathtaking ceremony, there will be an introductory message and a summary of percentage data for the July 2024 CLE, which includes first-time, repeater, and overall passers, presented by the Board for Criminology. Then proper oath-taking followed. There will be two oath takings: the PRC oath taking and the Professional Criminologists Association of the Philippines (PCAP).

After taking an oath, the status of your LERIS account will be changed from PENDING to ATTENDED. Successful passers must take a screenshot as proof of attending the ceremony.

Once done with the oathtaking, go back to your LERIS account to process your PRC ID. Under your LERIS account, click on “SELECT TRANSACTION” and select “INITIAL REGISTRATION.” Then select “ CRIMINOLOGIST” and type in your application number from your notice of admission (NOA), then click “PROCEED.” Choose your preferred PRC Regional Office to select your scheduled appointment to process your PRC ID. Payment for initial registration is ₱1,050.

To complete your online appointment, you must choose your payment option or method. The easiest and most convenient payment methods recommended by the PRC are PAYMAYA and GCASH.

For initial registration requirements:

a. Online Oath Form;

b. Old Notice of Admission (NOA);

c. (2) Passport Size Picture (White Background, Formal with complete name tag “Surname, First Name, Middle Name”);

d. (2) Documentary Stamp; and

e. Proof of attendance to the Face to Face Mass Oathtaking (if needed)
