September 2024 Bar Exam Passing Score

To pass the September 2024 Bar Exam, examinees must achieve a minimum score of 75%. This score is based on the weighted average of their performance across all subjects, which takes into account both the number of correct answers and the relative weight of each subject.

For example, if a subject has a total of 20 questions, the examinee’s raw score will be calculated as a percentage of the maximum possible score, and that percentage is then multiplied by the subject’s weight. The total weighted score is the sum of these calculations across all subjects.

Examinees who score 85% or higher on the September 2024 Bar Exam will be recognized for exemplary performance, a distinction that acknowledges their outstanding achievement.

However, there is a strict requirement for those who may not pass. Any examinee who has failed the Bar Exam three times or more will be required to take refresher courses before they can attempt the exam again.

This mandatory course is designed to help candidates better prepare and increase their chances of success in future attempts. For more info, you may check the approved list of legal education institutions with authority to offer refresher course 2025.

What’s Next for the Passers

For the successful examinees, this event marks just the beginning of their journey as legal professionals.

The Oath Taking and Roll Signing Ceremonies are scheduled for January 24, 2025. Ahead of the ceremony, successful Bar examinees will need to complete clearance procedures and pay the required Admission and Certification fees. Details about these steps will be announced soon.

Public Viewing and Guidelines

The Supreme Court is inviting the public to join in this momentous occasion. Gates will be open from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m., but entry will be regulated due to space limitations.

All attendees will go through security inspections before entering, and a dress code will be strictly enforced.

The Court reminds everyone to dress appropriately—wearing sleeveless tops, ripped clothing, or open-toe footwear will result in denied entry. This dress code reflects the formality and importance of the event.
