Postponed: May 2021 Nurses Licensure Examination (NLE), new schedule
The
Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) announced today, April 23, 2021, the
rescheduling of May 2021 Nurses Licensure Examination (NLE).
PRC said that May
30 & 31, 2021 and the previously scheduled November 20 & 21, 2021 NLE
has been rescheduled to November 21 & 22, 2021 pursuant to PRC Resolution No. 1350,(s.2021).
Reason: Due to the recent rise in Coronavirus
Disease 2019 (COVID 19) cases, and stated that the protection of potential
nurses and all those who will be interested in the NLE’s conduct is the most
important consideration.
The
PRC decided that it was appropriate to recommend that the May 2021 NLE be
postponed and rescheduled due to the health and safety of all examinees and
examination personnel, as well as the Professional Regulatory Board of Nursing
(Board) and the Licensure Office.
Under PRC
Resolution No. 1283 Series of 2020, the PRC announced the schedule of board
examinations for 2021 in November of last year.
