(I-P) AUGUST 2024 RESULTS: MedTech Licensure Exam
Only 3,872 (69.47%)
out of 5,574 takers passed the August 2024 Medical Technologist
Licensure Examination (MedTech) given by PRC Board of Medical Technology.
The results of August 2024 Medical Technologist Licensure Examination (MTLE) will be released on August 13, 2024 or four (4) working days from the last day of examination in accordance with Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Res. No. 1728 entitled “Schedule of Licensure Examination for Year 2024.”
The two-day examination
was administered on August 6 and 7, 2024 (Tuesday and Wednesday) in
several testing venues in the National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Cebu and
Davao.

PASSING SCORE
A candidate must attain at least a 75% overall average on the written test and not receive a score of less than 50% in any of the major subjects in order to pass the test: Unless, depending on their relative weights, the candidate fails at least 60% of the subjects. Even those who failed the test but received a general score of at least 70% were allowed to register as medical laboratory technicians.
