President Rodrigo Roa Duterte issues Administrative Order No. 43 on June 2, 2021 authorizing the grant of hazard pay to government personnel who physically report for work during the period of implementation under Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) and and Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) relative to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Personnel
with regular, contractual, or casual positions, or engaged through contract of
service (COS) or job order (JO) are qualified for the grant.
Administrative Order No. 43 (AO 43) modifies AO 26 granting a COVID-19 hazard pay (CHP) of Php500 per day to PNP personnel who physically report for work.
The AO 43 allows heads of government agencies to grant CHP to their employees without requiring further approval from the Department of Budget Management (DBM), as long as the employees are physically present at their respective offices or work stations during the prescribed official working hours.
The PNP Finance posted the payment for COVID Hazard Pay (CHP) Supplemental for June and July 2021 and will be released on April 7, 2022. However, only 173 PNP personnel for June 2021 and 9,787 personnel for July 2021 are entitled to receive the said hazard pay.
Meanwhile, the CHP for November and October 2021 will be released on April 8, 2022.
To
check if you are qualified for CHP Supplemental and to know the amount
received, visit your PNP Payslip and look for financial
history.
For personnel to know whether entitled to receive or not, you have to check your respective city/provincial quarantine classification for the month of July 2021. Only those personnel who physically report for work under MECQ and ECQ are authorized to grant the COVID Hazard Pay (CHP).
